We are pleased to announce the birth of coda-clips.com

Sam Brown and I are proud to announce the launch of Coda Clips. The site was born from an idea which went back and forth between us on Twitter one day. Sam was looking for a repository of Clips for Coda, the excellent web development app from Panic, and was surprised that no one had created one. I commented that I had looked for one before also, and we discussed building one ourselves.
So what are Clips? Coda has a clips pallette, which holds different snippets of code, and allows you to quickly add those snippets into your document, without having to type them out manually every time. These Clips are very handy, but the app only comes with a few pre-installed.
Coda Clips is a repository of different clips which you can copy and paste into your own copy of Coda to build up your library and ultimately save you time while coding. We encourage user submissions of Clips which users find handy in their everyday work.
We are also looking into ways to import/export clips, so if anyone has any knowledge on that, please let us know.
We have been discussing if the site is ready to go for a while, and deliberating over various aspects, but we ultimately decided to just release it into the wild and see what happens when we let it grow organically. This is partly an exercise in trying a new way of working on a project. Both Sam and I both tend to fuss over minute details on projects, when with many projects it might be beneficial to launch it and adapt from there. We shall see how it goes.
If you use Coda, we would appreciate feedback on the site.
