At the end of October I had a week long holiday in a quiet part of Ibiza. While I was there I became interested in all the signage I saw, and how it differed (or not) to British signage. Ibiza is a weird place in that it is Spanish, yet is full of Brits, and British business owners. The signage was, in the most part, badly thought out, brash, cheap looking. Aimed at tourist basically. There were some examples that I really liked, some of which were not obviously not professionally designed, but had a certain charm. Looking at the whole set of photos I took of the signs I saw, it is an interesting document of public design in a foreign country.
